The introduction section is not necessary, but it is recommended to include it. It can be used to elaborate on the content of the document and explain the necessity of preparing it.

The scope section is mandatory and describes the content contained in this document.


Sector 08

Normative citation clauses are mandatory, even if there are no normative citations in the document. It lists the reference documents cited in the text that are referenced in a way that partially or entirely constitutes the requirements of the document (e.g. "Sampling should be carried out in accordance with the provisions of clause 5 of ISO 24333:2009 standard"). If you are referencing specific clauses, sub clauses, charts, tables, etc. from a reference document, remember to indicate the date of the reference.

Sector 09

Terms and definition clauses are mandatory and their purpose is to clarify the specific meanings of certain words in the context of the document. Only the terms used in the document need to be defined.

Sector 10

  • The terms and clauses constitute the main body of any standard document. They guide users of the document on the actions required to implement the standards. For the convenience of referencing key parts of the document, clauses and clauses should be numbered.

  • Do not allow its documents to be forced to use specific services, such as testing or certification (such as services provided by another company). The required writing should ensure that anyone can verify it.

  • Standard documents should avoid mentioning trademarks or company names. Under specific conditions, patented products can be mentioned.


Sector 11

Annotations and examples are used to provide additional information aimed at helping understand or use the document. Do not include any requirements, suggestions, or permissions in comments or examples.

Sector 12

  • Use the International System of Units (SI units). Explain the meanings of the symbols used in the formula in the list below it. As shown below, number the formulas in the text in order.

  • Formulas are usually introduced by a introductory sentence.

Sector 13

The appendix is used to provide additional information. They can be normative (such as testing methods that users must follow) or informative (additional information to supplement user understanding). The nature of an appendix (normative or informative) is determined by its citation method in the document body. The appendix is identified by capital letters (A, B, C,...).

List the files that provide background information in the references. Ensure to list all references cited in the document, either listed in the references section or mentioned in clause 2 (depending on how they are cited in the text).
