In the past, radio and television channel machines have always followed the standards of Europe, America, and Japan. With the promotion of the alliance, upstream and downstream enterprises have worked together to develop a portable 8K60 frame radio and television channel machine and found a domestic solution. The product can not only output ultra high definition videos, but also remotely control the camera to complete shooting tasks through commands, making ultra high definition shooting more flexible and helping to control costs.
At the conference, China Central Radio and Television Station showcased the intelligent production process of full media ultra high definition collection, production, distribution, and broadcasting that integrates artificial intelligence. At the upcoming National Games, the station will use this system for the first time to produce vertical ultra high definition signals for badminton matches, providing viewers with a more mobile oriented audio-visual experience and offering new ideas for ultra high definition dissemination of sports events and large-scale events.

It is reported that the World Ultra HD Video Industry Alliance was established on January 26, 2022, led by China Central Television. Currently, the number of member units of the alliance has reached 465, covering 23 countries and regions. A total of 75 standards and 29 white papers have been released, covering cutting-edge products and technologies throughout the entire chain, providing a solid standard support and cooperation platform for the development of the global ultra HD industry.
Ultra high definition video industry accelerates globalization with 'Chinese standards'
The reporter learned from the World Ultra HD Video Industry Alliance Conference that multiple technologies led by China have been officially adopted by multiple international standard organizations, marking a significant increase in the international recognition of China's ultra high definition technology standards and creating favorable conditions for China to seize the lead in the global digital economy competition.
At this conference, the World Ultra HD Video Industry Alliance and the US company Khronos jointly announced that they will promote the development of 3DGS standards and advance the comprehensive upgrade of 3D immersive experiences. A unified global standard is expected to solve the current problems of fragmented and compatible 3D content production, and help further apply 3D technology in fields such as metaverse, virtual tourism, and consumer electronics.
Since its establishment, the alliance has established cooperation with more than 50 companies around the world, and the international recognition of relevant technical standards in China continues to increase. Among them, the Audio Vivid standard has been adopted by three international authoritative organizations: the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), and the International Video Broadcasting Organization (DVB); The High Dynamic Range Video Technology Standard (HDR Vivid) has also been successfully approved by the International Telecommunication Union and the International Video Broadcasting Organization. These two standards have become important technical options in the global ultra high definition field, gradually bringing Chinese standards to the world and serving the world.
