The "Big Model Responsibility Alliance" 2024 Annual Exchange Conference was held in Beijing on the afternoon of December 15th. The theme of this conference is "Intelligence for Good, Intelligence for the Future", focusing on the sustainable and safe development of big model technology. In depth exchanges will be held on topics such as security challenges, risk prevention, industry application innovation, development trends, and talent cultivation of big model technology, aiming to provide new ideas for industry development and promote the healthy application of big model technology in various fields.

The keynote speech of the conference proposes to explore the classification and development potential of the four dimensions of artificial intelligence from the unique perspective of traditional culture, using the four words "knowledge, action, thinking, and realization" to correspond to "intelligence, action, emotional intelligence, leadership, and creativity", injecting cultural connotations into technological development.

The Big Model Responsibility Alliance was established in 2023, guided by the Science and Technology Ethics Committee of the National Key Laboratory of Communication Content Cognition, and jointly initiated by People's Daily Online Technology Company and Big Model Enterprises. Since its establishment, the alliance has adhered to the purpose of promoting the sustainable and safe development of big model technology, and is committed to building a responsible and trustworthy ecosystem for the healthy and orderly development of big model technology with a high sense of responsibility and mission.

The responsible persons of the National Key Laboratory of Content Awareness and People's Daily Online Technology Company shared and expressed at the meeting that as the initiating unit of the Big Model Responsibility Alliance, we will continue to leverage our own advantages, work closely with alliance member units, and jointly promote the innovation and development of big model technology.

This conference invited experts and scholars from multiple universities and research institutions to deeply explore key issues in the development of big model technology. They shared their insights on big model security risks and response methods, exploration and practice of AI enabled education, big model super alignment, generative intelligent video encoding technology, and big model security trusted application practice, providing important ideas and experience references for industry development.

During the conference, representatives from member units of the alliance such as Zhipu AI, Huawei Cloud, Tonglian Data, Zhonggong Internet, Shumei Technology, Ruilai Intelligence, Suiyuan Technology, and AVIC Information Mobile Technology showcased their innovative achievements and practical experience in the field of large models. These cases cover multiple industry sectors, demonstrating the broad potential of big model technology in practical applications and providing useful references for other enterprises.

The meeting also set up a topic discussion session, with guests from Beijing Youth League Committee, Zhejiang University, Beijing Second Foreign Studies University, China Unicom Research Institute, Tianjin Intelligent Computing Center, Disi Media, Shuhui Space, Daguan Data, Midu, Southern Finance and Economics, Fangyun Technology, Heli Siteng, Zhongguan Village New Infrastructure Alliance and other units engaging in lively discussions on topics such as "domestic super computing power activating new quality productivity", "how big models can be combined with scenarios to accelerate their entry into people's lives", and "talent cultivation models in the era of AI big models". Representatives from various parties shared their insights and experiences from different perspectives, providing diverse directions for the future development of big model technology.
