On the morning of May 7, 2025, a symposium commemorating the 30th anniversary of the implementation of the strategy of rejuvenating the country through science and education, jointly organized by the Central Research Office of the 93 Society, the China International Association for the Promotion of Science and Technology, and the Zhou Peiyuan Foundation, under the guidance of the Central Committee of the 93 Society, was successfully held at the central office of the 93 Society.
The symposium was presided over by Mr. Liu Zhengkui, member of the Standing Committee of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, deputy secretary-general, and vice chairman of the Central Committee of the Jiusan Society. Mr. Wu Weihua, vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, chairman of the Central Committee of the Jiusan Society, and academician of the CAS Member, Mr. Shao Hong, vice chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and executive vice chairman of the Central Committee of the Jiusan Society, and more than 20 representatives from all walks of life attended the symposium.

He specifically mentioned that Mr. Zhou Peiyuan had published an article in Science Pictorial in 1977, emphasizing the importance of basic theoretical research and calling for attention to science education and talent cultivation. Mr. Zhou Peiyuan, as a renowned scientist and educator in China, devoted his life to science education and talent cultivation. He was one of the pioneers and founders of China's science and education industry, laying a solid ideological foundation for the Party Central Committee to propose the strategy of "rejuvenating the country through science and education", and pointing out the direction for the development of China's science and education industry.
President Duan emphasized that in the past 30 years, the Science Promotion Association has always been at the forefront of promoting the implementation of the strategy of rejuvenating the country through science and education, placing technology and education in an important position for economic and social development.
